Online GED Study

NOTE: THE GED TEST IS NOT AVAILABLE ONLINE. THIS IS A PREPARATION COURSE.   

1. How do I enroll?
   
   Before you begin classes you must:
   1. Read the Application Agreement
   2. Click here to fill out the Application.
   3. Take the Online GED Survey.
2. Can I take the GED Online?
   
   You must take the GED test at a testing center near you. Find one here: Local Testing Centers
3. How do I get a copy of my scores?
   
   If you have taken or passed the GED and need to request a copy of your scores, print this Transcript Request form and mail it to the address on the form.

1. In order to take the online GED prep class, an individual must come to SMCC and take the TABE test. The reading score must be at least an eighth grade equivalent in order to qualify for online study.
2. Information will be faxed to our online source. A user name and password will be emailed. The individual will begin receiving assignments online based on the results of a complete TABE assessment.
